Just The Tap
About This Spot
Just The Tap nestles into a tucked-away corner of Seattle’s bustling Belltown neighborhood, where the hum of city life softens into a warm, playful welcome. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere strikes a rare balance—inviting yet alive, relaxed yet energized. It’s not just a place to eat or drink, but a spot to linger, explore, and connect.
The space is thoughtfully layered, with distinct rooms that invite different moods. Whether you find yourself amidst the open, casual main bar area or drifting toward a brightly lit neon swing room or pinball nook, there’s a gentle buzz of friendly competition and shared discovery. The presence of board games and a variety of seating options turns a simple outing into a chance to slow down time and savor the moment with friends or new faces alike.
Food here feels like a thoughtful accompaniment to the experience rather than the sole focus. Pizzas arrive as flavorful, slightly indulgent expressions—cheese melting over a crisp crust, or unexpected toppings like rosemary butter and pickled onion bringing familiar ingredients into surprising, satisfying harmony. The fare is approachable but never ordinary, perfectly paired with the self-serve taps that invite experimentation—from crisp ciders that flirt with nostalgic flavors to a well-curated lineup of beers ready to be poured in just the right measure.
Evenings at Just The Tap unfold at their own pace. The space gently morphs from a laid-back afternoon refuge into a vibrant weekend playground, where laughter and the clatter of games mix effortlessly with good conversation. It’s a place where the human moments—sharing a pizza slice, debating the next round, the simple thrill of pouring your own drink—shape the rhythm, making it less about rushing through a meal and more about savoring a shared experience.

It is a fun place to be! We went in on a Sunday sadly but still had the best food and ended up spending good time. Their hot veggie pizza and loaded fries were absolutely delicious. They are open until late Friday and Saturday nights, and heard that the vibe is great during those days. Definitely coming back to check it out! They have lots of games and rooms to hang out with friends. Love that!

Great place with different rooms to hang out. The main area is open. There's a pinball room and a neon swing room. We didn't have any food but the menu looked appetizing and the food smelled delicious. Their featured drinks were too sweet for me but the mixologist crafted some great drinks for us!

My husband and I found this place while exploring Seattle and ended up coming back for more on our second night. I’d never been to a “pour your own beer” place so it was cool to experience. I loved the different ciders they had - especially the vanilla bean one that tasted like cream soda! The pizza was good and we had fun playing games. Such a cool place to hangout.

In Seattle for a few hours and followed the signs. Was a little sketchy walking down a black closed in xterior hallway to get to the entry door, but glad we went. We were the first people there when it opened. We spent some time tasting beer and playing cards. Really liked the serce yourself tasting where you get a FOB that counts the ounces you pour, so you can taste each before deciding if you want to pay for a whole glass. We had some pizza, and while it was wasn't spectacular, it was defunitely better than i expected from a bar. They had shelves full of board and card games. It is probably a ton of fun at night. There was a pinball room, a glow in the dark room with swings for chairs, a DJ room and a TV room. Sponge Bob was playing when we were there. Last note.. the bathroom was the cleanest, neatest, nicest smelling bar bathroom I have ever been in, and my husband said the same about the men's room!

11/26/2025 Visiting Seattle from Austin Texas. Really enjoy this establishment. I like the fact it’s beer by the ounce. You pour exactly how much you want and the system keeps track. This is similar to experiencing a flight, but on your terms. A lot of time I don’t want a 12OZ stout ( hi in calories) this system lets me manage responsibly what I drink. Anyway it was a quiet and relaxing place, away from all the hustle. The bar tender is super helpful and interesting.

Totally love this place! Very kind, nice people working here. Had great conversations with Merlee and Jonathan. The beer selection is great and the self service beer draft is cool. Also, the pinball machines are a lot of fun!
